ARCHITECT/BALLPARK DESIGN EXPERT
JONATHAN O'NEIL COLE AIA, NCARB, NOMA - PENDULUM

With 24 years of experience in the baseball marketplace, Jonathan O’Neil Cole has designed 27 built ballparks and counting. As founding principal of Kansas City based Pendulum, Jonathan has spent the last twelve years building a sports focused architectural practice dedicated to ballpark design that enhances the player and fan experience. As an established thought-leader in sports Jonathan has taken the reigns in crafting the vision for this design. Interestingly, Pendulum is very familiar with one of the proposed ballpark sites because they authored the design standards for the entire East Village district while the development rights were under the control of Swope Community Builders.

CULINARY EXPERIENCE STRATEGIST
PATRICK Q. RYAN - CHEF/OWNER PORT FONDA

Over the course of his twenty year long career as chef, Patrick Ryan has always focused on simple ingredient-driven food influenced by the flavors of rustic Mexican cantina cooking.
Instrumental in the farm-dinners of Green Dirt Farms, Patrick brings that focus on authentic ingredients to Port Fonda where he has chosen as Kansas City’s best chef by Pitch Magazine, nominated for Food & Wine People’s Best New Chef Midwest 2013 and 2014 and most recently a semifinalist for James Beard Awards’ Best Chef-Midwest.

DESIGNER/ARTIST/SCULPTOR

As a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute with a degree in sculpture, Dale Frommelt is no stranger to creative environments and collaborating with design and visual professionals. As a long-term fixture in the Kansas City design scene, Dale is a strategic thinker that consistently finds a way to make the seemingly impossible a reality, whether that is designing an apparatus to simultaneously drop 1,000 soccer balls as he did for the logo unveiling of Sporting Kansas City, or custom building an eight foot diameter Oreo cookie replica as he did for a Price Chopper display at the downtown Kansas City Sprint Arena; Dale’s ability to listen to the goals of his client’s, analyze the challenges, strategize the solution and then execute is his unparalleled strength.
